Golden Crown VIP program: how points build up
- Pokies:
- 1 CP per 105 AUD wagered
- Other games:
- 1 CP per 210 AUD wagered
- CP exchange wagering:
- x5
A common mix-up: reaching Golden or Platinum, two of the ten statuses, does not make you a member of the Golden Crown VIP program. Statuses come from points; VIP membership comes from an invitation, and invited players get wheels others cannot spin on the Golden Crown wheel of fortune page.
Points build slowly. Picture a player spinning A$2 pokies, 1,000 spins a week. That is A$2,000 wagered and about 19 CP, since pokies pay 1 CP per A$105. Here is how that player climbs:
| Week | Pokie bets so far | CP so far | Status reached |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | A$6,000 | 57 | Crystal |
| 11 | A$22,000 | 209 | Iron |
| 27 | A$54,000 | 514 | Steel |
| 53 | A$106,000 | 1,009 | Bronze |
Silver, the next step, would take roughly another year at the same pace. Tables, live and crash games earn half as fast, 1 CP per A$210, so the same player on blackjack would need about two years for Bronze.
Golden Crown CP rates by status
| Status | Comp points | CP exchange rate |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky | 0–50 CP | 14:1 |
| Crystal | 50–200 CP | 13:1 |
| Iron | 200–500 CP | 12:1 |
| Steel | 500–1,000 CP | 11:1 |
| Bronze | 1,000–2,000 CP | 10:1 |
| Silver | 2,000–5,000 CP | 9:1 |
| Golden | 5,000–10,000 CP | 8:1 |
| Platinum | 10,000–20,000 CP | 7:1 |
| Diamond | 20,000–50,000 CP | 6:1 |
| Privilege | 50,000+ CP | 5:1 |
The rate column shows how many points buy A$1. Lucky needs 14, Bronze 10, Golden 8, Privilege 5.
For the A$2 player above, a year of play at Bronze, about 1,000 CP, exchanges for about A$100. At Lucky rates it would have been about A$71. Either way the cash comes with x5 wagering: A$100 from points must be bet A$500 before withdrawal.
Exchange happens from the Exchange CP button on the statuses page. The rate is the one your status carries at that moment, so the same points are worth more after a step up. The terms set no expiry for points.
The VIP invitation, explained
- 1Play pokiesthey earn CP fastest
- 2Climb the statusesLucky to Privilege
- 3Wait for an inviteVIP is by invitation
The official VIP page is plain about it: the team selects active players and contacts them, usually within 24 hours of their play reaching the level it watches for. There is no form and no published threshold.
The page also says to stay active to get an invitation. Read that as a sales line, not a reason to play more. Ask about limits instead, explained on the Golden Crown casino withdrawal page.
Once invited, you pick how to talk to the manager: live chat, email or WhatsApp. The VIP FAQ promises help with gaming terms, bonus conditions, payment processes and game providers, plus exclusive perks and surprises it does not price.
All ten Golden Crown statuses
Ten statuses, ten exchange rates. Lucky from 0 CP, Crystal 50, Iron 200, Steel 500, Bronze 1,000, Silver 2,000, Golden 5,000, Platinum 10,000, Diamond 20,000, Privilege 50,000. Each step lowers the rate by one point per A$1, from 14:1 to 5:1.
The gaps widen as you go. Crystal to Iron is 150 CP, Diamond to Privilege 30,000 CP, or A$3.15 million of pokie bets for a single step. A status moves up the moment its threshold is reached.

Chase status or ignore it?
For most players the ladder is a small rebate that grows only with turnover. It is fine to collect and pointless to chase. The A$2 spinner above gets A$71–A$100 back on A$104,000 wagered in a year.
The VIP club is different value. Personal manager, priority payouts, higher withdrawal limits and personal bonuses. It is also unpublished value: no figures, no written thresholds, and some VIP reviewers on Trustpilot describe waits of days for payouts anyway.
If you are invited, ask for the limits and bonus terms in writing. Personal bonuses still follow the general bonus terms, including the abuse rule that flags 70% bonus funds across 5–9 deposits.
The one VIP extra with numbers attached is the wheels. Gold opens at A$225 a deposit, Platinum and Diamond at A$300, with cash prizes up to A$1,500, A$3,000 and A$7,500 at x30 wagering.
If you notice you are playing to reach a status, that is when to set a cooling-off period in the account, from one week to six months.
- Statuses change the CP rate only; the VIP club is a separate invitation.
- Pokies earn twice the points of any other game type.
- Expect roughly a year at A$2,000 a week of pokie bets to reach Bronze.
- Points exchanged for cash carry x5 wagering before any of that cash can be withdrawn.

Quick answers on Golden Crown
Is the loyalty program the same as VIP?
No. The ten statuses are a points ladder for every account. The VIP club is by invitation, decided by the VIP team based on activity, and adds a personal manager and higher limits. A Privilege status without an invitation still gets none of the club perks.
Do table games earn comp points?
Yes, at half the pokie rate: 1 CP per A$210 wagered on table, live and other games, against 1 CP per A$105 on slots. Crash Games and Originals count as other games too.
What is the best CP exchange rate?
5:1 at Privilege, which needs 50,000 CP. The worst is 14:1 at Lucky. The terms describe the A$1 exchange value for AUD accounts. Swedish players are excluded from point exchanges altogether.
Do VIPs get better prize wheels?
Yes. The wheel terms reserve Gold, Platinum and Diamond for VIP players, and on the official page those three cards read Reach VIP Club Status to open. Gold starts at A$225, Platinum and Diamond at A$300. Standard and Silver stay open to everyone.
Can a VIP manager change my limits?
The official VIP FAQ says a personal manager can tailor game limits and certain conditions to your preferences. The terms also allow VIP players higher withdrawal limits than the published tiers, which run from A$4,500 to A$15,000 a day. Deposit, loss and wager limits you set yourself stay in your hands either way.
