The Golden Crown lottery prize table is fixed for each draw. Cash goes to 65 tickets, A$5,000 in total, and free spins to 80, 5,200 spins in total.

The single top prize is A$1,000. Below it sit three of A$300 and five of A$200. More than half the cash tickets, 36, pay A$25 or A$10. Tickets come only with deposits from A$30; payout rules are on the Golden Crown casino withdrawal page.

The other 80 winning tickets pay 30 to 100 free spins each. Every cash prize carries x5 wagering, so here is what each one costs in bets on pokies before it becomes withdrawable:

Cash prizeWinning ticketsBets needed at x5
A$1,0001A$5,000
A$3003A$1,500
A$2005A$1,000
A$10010A$500
A$5010A$250
A$2516A$125
A$1020A$50

Those totals assume pokies, which count 100%. At tables, counting 5%, each figure is twenty times higher.

Golden Crown ticket prices by deposit

Ticket prices fall with deposit size: A$15 each from A$30, A$12 from A$75, A$10.50 from A$150, A$7.50 from A$750, A$4.50 from A$1,500.

A A$300 deposit lands in the A$10.50 band and brings about 28 tickets. Raising it to A$750 would bring 100, for A$450 more. The rules do not say how partial tickets are rounded. Two deposits of A$150 land in the same band and bring about 28 as well. From A$1,500 the price drops to A$4.50, under a third of the starting A$15.

A ticket count says little on its own, since the number of players and their tickets is never shown.

  • A$30–A$74 deposits: A$15 per ticket, so A$45 brings 3 tickets and A$30 alone brings 2.
  • A$75–A$149 deposits: A$12 per ticket, so A$120 brings 10 tickets and A$75 about 6.
  • A$150–A$749 deposits: A$10.50 per ticket, so A$300 brings about 28 and A$150 about 14.
  • A$750 and up: A$7.50 per ticket, so A$750 brings exactly 100, dropping to A$4.50 from A$1,500.

From deposit to prize: the lottery cycle

    Make deposit
  2. 2
    Get tickets
  3. 3
Wait for the draw and win

Deposit, and the tickets appear by themselves; nothing has to be bought or activated. A draw runs for two weeks, and the countdown on the lottery page shows the time left.

At the end the casino announces winners and pays within two hours. Each player can win with one ticket only. Winners of the last stage are listed under the prize table with shortened names; the free spin winners are not shown. Rules 10 and 11 let the casino modify or cancel the lottery and void prizes over errors, technical issues or suspected collusion. Cash and spins arrive as bonus money with x5 wagering, much lighter than the welcome offer on the Golden Crown casino bonus page.

The lottery sits on top of other deposit promotions; nothing in its rules excludes deposits that also took a bonus code. The site runs three more prize schemes, and each has its own entry and wagering:

Golden Crown lottery: worth it?

Worth having, not worth paying for. The tickets are a free side effect of a deposit, and a small prize adds a little play money.

The arithmetic of chasing it is poor. 145 prizes per fortnight are shared by everyone who deposited, the most common cash prize is A$10, and that A$10 needs A$50 in bets before cash-out. Spin prizes have no stated value or game, so the cash table is the only part you can price.

The trap is a deposit made only to reach a cheaper band: A$750 instead of A$300 buys 72 more tickets for A$450 more at risk.

For the same budget, a straight deposit with no expectation of a prize is the honest plan. If you find yourself depositing again to collect tickets before a draw closes, set a deposit limit; lowering a limit takes effect immediately.

Prize money, once wagered, follows the normal payout rules on the Golden Crown casino withdrawal page, and the bonus terms cap non-deposit prizes of this kind at A$15,000.

Quick answers on Golden Crown

Is the Golden Crown lottery free?

There is no ticket fee and no opt-in. Tickets come only with deposits from A$30, so you need to deposit to take part. The cheapest entry, a single A$30 deposit, gives 2 tickets at A$15 each. Below A$30, no ticket is issued; from A$75 the price falls to A$12.

How many tickets win cash?

65 of the 145 winning tickets pay cash, from A$10 to A$1,000. The other 80 pay free spins, from 30 to 100 each, ten tickets per size. A winning ticket is therefore a little more likely to pay spins than cash. The 80 spin tickets share 5,200 spins in total.

What if I self-exclude before the draw ends?

You lose the prize. The rules say accounts that are closed, limited or excluded when the lottery ends are not eligible, and that any limit or restriction on an account may prevent a prize. A cooling-off period that runs past the end of a draw has the same effect, and self-exclusion disables the account immediately.

How much do I bet to cash out a lottery prize?

Five times the prize. A A$200 win needs A$1,000 in bets before withdrawal, and the same x5 applies to winnings from lottery free spins. The rules do not name the game the spins are played on. On table games, which count 5%, that A$200 would need A$20,000.

Can a second account give more tickets?

No. The rules allow one account per participant, and the general terms close duplicate accounts sharing an address, device or IP, with winnings forfeited. A second account would also break the lottery's own rule of one winning ticket per participant.
