Golden Crown bonus buy pokies in the lobby
Golden Crown bonus buy pokies sit in their own lobby tab, Bonus Buy, between Exclusive and Table Games. The tab is the casino's only list of them; no separate page names the games or their prices.
Some tiles in the tab also wear the JACKPOT badge, and those close completely while any bonus is active. Most tiles have a Demo button.
The practical route through the tab: open a game in Demo, check what the feature costs at the stake you would really play, and only then decide. Which pokies the casino pushes most is covered on the Golden Crown casino slots page.
A buy also counts in more places than the game itself. Each programme on the site treats it as an ordinary bet of the price paid:
| Programme | What a A$15 buy does there |
|---|---|
| Royal Harvest | adds 10 points, at 1 per A$1.50 |
| Grand Trophy jackpots | keeps you in the draw for 120 seconds |
| Comp points | earns about 0.14 CP, at 1 per A$105 |
| Bonus wagering | breaks the A$7 CROWN1 cap |
| Multiplier races | scoring of bought rounds not published |
- Bonus Buy tab: every game with a purchasable feature in one place.
- JACKPOT badge inside the tab: locked with an active bonus.
- Demo mode: see the buy price for each stake at no cost.
- Search and Providers: find a known title or a studio quickly.
Which bonus buy pokies are worth opening first?
JACKPOT

JACKPOT
JACKPOTOpen first the games you already know from normal play, in Demo. A feature you have never triggered naturally is a blind purchase. The casino's own promoted titles, Coin Strike 2 and Rich Piggies: Bonus Combo, are good tests of whether feature-heavy pokies suit your budget at all.
Skip anything on the restricted list if a bonus might be running later. Titles such as Book of Dead, Reactoonz and Dead or Alive 2 cannot be opened at all during bonus play, buy or no buy.
Buy prices and RTP: where to find them
| Bonus rule | What it means for a feature buy |
|---|---|
| Max bet with the CROWN1 bonus | A$7 per round, and a bought feature counts as one bet |
| Max bet on later deposit bonuses | A$3 per round, so almost any buy breaks it |
| Wagering on bonus and spins | x40 before bonus money turns into cash |
| Wins from deposit bonuses | capped at x5 the deposit |
| Comp points on real-money slots | 1 CP per A$105 of real-money slot bets |
| Buy price | shown in the game before you confirm, scaled to your stake |
Golden Crown publishes no buy prices, RTPs or volatility figures, so the table above lists the bonus rules a buy runs into instead. Every game states its own buy price, usually as a multiple of the stake, and its RTP inside the info screen. Some games list a separate RTP for the bought round, so compare the two before paying.
The jackpot terms add that a game's payout percentage does not affect Grand Trophy wins. A higher-RTP buy is about the game alone.
Buying a feature: the mechanics
- 1Open a pokie
- 2Tap Buy feature
- 3Play the bonus round
Set the stake, press the buy button, check the price and confirm. The bonus round starts straight away.
The price scales with the stake. Take a hypothetical feature priced at 70x: at A$0.10 it costs A$7, at A$1 it costs A$70. With a welcome bonus active, the A$7 bet cap means only the first of those is allowed. On GC75 and 50DEP the cap is A$3, which allows that same feature only at about four cents a spin.
Play the bought round through at once. The terms void bonus rounds that are postponed until wagering ends.
Our take on buying features
Buying features is a high-variance way to spend a budget fast. Each purchase is one large bet, and the bonus round can return less than its price.
It can still be a reasonable choice under three conditions: no bonus active, a fixed number of buys decided before the session, and a game you have tested in Demo.
With a bonus active, leave buys alone. The terms count them against the A$7 or A$3 cap and can void the bonus and its winnings. They also ban using bonus money to build up a game's progress, such as collected coins, and finishing it with cash.
If you mainly want bonus-round excitement, the Wednesday free spins give rounds for a fixed deposit, 30 spins from A$45. They are on the Golden Crown casino bonus page. Set a daily loss limit in the account before a session built around buys.

Quick answers on Golden Crown
What is a bonus buy pokie?
A pokie that lets you pay a fixed price, set as a multiple of your stake, to skip straight to its bonus round instead of waiting for it to trigger. At Golden Crown they are grouped under the Bonus Buy tab.
Can a feature buy win the Grand Trophy jackpot?
The Grand Trophy draws among players who wagered at least A$1.5 in the last 120 seconds on any game, so a buy at that price or above counts as a qualifying bet. It does not raise your chance, since any qualifying bet counts the same.
Which studios offer feature buys?
Golden Crown does not list them. Use the Providers filter inside the Bonus Buy tab to see which studios have games there. NetEnt and Amatic are unavailable in Australia under the terms.
Is there a tournament for bonus buy games?
Not one that targets bought features. Royal Harvest counts every real-money slot bet towards points, 1 per A$1.5, so a buy adds turnover there like any other bet.
Does a bought feature pay better?
Not necessarily. Some games use a different RTP for the bought feature than for normal play, sometimes higher, sometimes lower. Check the game's info screen before you buy.
